A Chef Jakob Concept—In Partnership with the Huntsville Botanical Garden
While you're exploring Huntsville Botanical Garden, take a seat at Table in the Garden and unwind. Inspired by the elements of nature, birch accents border the entrance and give way to a spacious, sun-soaked dining area. Surrounded by apple trees and blueberry bushes, the dining patio at Table in the Garden lets you experience the sight, sounds, and sweet scents of the Garden while you enjoy your favorite fare from our refined, modern menu.
Designed as an integral component of the new multi-million dollar welcome center expansion at Huntsville Botanical Garden, Table in the Garden serves a locally sourced, seasonal menu in an environment that reflects North Alabama’s horticultural heritage.
Tempt Your Senses
Are you in the mood for a strawberry grilled cheese sandwich featuring goat cheese from Belle Chèvre or the take-me-back goodness of Momma’s Meatloaf? Table in the Garden has something to tempt your palate, whether you want to relax with a picnic lunch on the grounds or have just a few minutes to spare on your lunch break. Check out all the delicious options on the TBL menu.
We also have fun and healthy options for your hard-to-please little ones - fruit comes with most items, like oven fried chicken tenders or a classic PB&J.
On those days when you crave fresh and delicious fare, but are crazy busy, take advantage of the TBL online ordering platform for to-go meals. Order ahead and enjoy!
The catering menus at Table in the Garden include breakfast, lunch, dinner, and heavy hors d'oeuvres. Each option features modern Southern dishes like biscuit buffets, shrimp and grit tarts, and cabernet-braised short ribs. All menus can be prepared at each of the seven event spaces at Huntsville Botanical Garden – the largest botanical garden in Alabama. TBL catering is an easy and sophisticated solution for those hosting events such as weddings, corporate gatherings, fund-raising events, and reunions at the Garden or in the Huntsville area.
Cooking Up Fun
What better backdrop for a cooking demonstration than the garden where the ingredients are grown? Chef Jakob Reed will host demonstrations like Cooking with Herbs, Tomatoes, Tomatoes, Tomatoes! and Autumn's Bounty around the Garden throughout the season. A Commitment to Sustainability
Preparing food you'll love is our passion, but right alongside that is our commitment to sustainability. We support local farmers by buying fresh, local and organic ingredients and we are developing a kitchen garden on the grounds as well. We believe in the concept of reuse and recycle, too. In fact, our furnishings are made entirely of recycled materials. Making an impact on our community is important to us, and keeping our footprint small goes hand in hand with the philosophy of the Huntsville Botanical Garden
